Franklin Manor Heads Straight from LA Studios to a Record Deal in Japan

I’ve been working on my music career for about 15 years, and it’s been a long road. But in a sense, it’s just the beginning. It’s always the beginning… it’s all a matter of perception. In 2013, I enrolled in a manifestation workshop in Delray Beach, Florida and there was an exercise on intention. I was told to draw a picture of what I most desired; and of course I drew an FM logo. My drawing was then taped on the inside wall of a hockey rink with a group of other peoples vision’s taped around it. I was blindfolded and told to find my card. At first it was extremely challenging, all of my fears and negative conversations came up in my mind. But after 30 minutes of deep concentration, I walked straight into my dream. It resonated with me on a level that I can’t explain.

Six months ago, Franklin Manor declared to go on tour in Japan, long before anything was set up. However, we lived in a place of “knowingness.” Knowing that it was going to happen well before it actually did. Knowing that none of the “doing” really mattered. The power is in the “beingness” or the “knowingness” of it. Thats how it works. I know that, because here it is, we’re embarking on our first international tour as a band, and I couldn’t be more grateful for my bandmates, family, friends, and everyone else who has supported us along the way. Cheers!

After working hard on the “Motive” album for about 2 years, I became quite fatigued when it came to creative energy. Being in the studio for hours on end, can really ware me down after a while, and it takes a lot of commitment to keep the flow of creativity going. After the album was finished, I had no desire to write new music. In my experience as a writer,  this isn’t anything new. However, lately I’ve been strongly inspired to write for Franklin Manor. I believe the next record will be even better than the last, and I couldn’t be more excited to hear the end result of what we create.

P.S. As you might already know, I’m a huge Banksy fan, so listen to our latest single “Blank Walls” Here.
